We were invited to stay at Grand Resort Ragaz as part of the Swiss Deluxe Hotel Spa Tour and treated to a Junior Suite with a balcony and stunning views over the main building, gardens and mountains. I loved the unique modern twist of the rooms, such as stones set as design elements and the lux storage solutions. Everything in the rooms is of the newest standards; The hotel has recently been refurbished. It’s pure luxury. Take a peak at the Resort Ragaz Story-Highlight on my Instagram to see the room, and follow our personal experience staying at the hotel.

Junior Suite bathrooms are fitted in dark natural tones and a have a huge flat screen TV, playing the beautiful Grand Resort Ragaz Video (or anything else you’d like to watch of course). The layout is awesome for couples; there is plenty of space and the shower and toilet are separated with doors. I also liked the take-home Face Moisturizer.

I love luxury hotels. They free my mind and provide a beautiful setting to work, relax and create. The personal service and special treatment are wonderful. I focus well and am ever inspired at such places with their breathtaking interiors, views and scents. Everything is easily available; practically at the doorstep, or a call away. I like this simplicity. Especially during busy times it’s almost necessary. It allows room to define what’s important and needs to be done. But at the same time provides a feeling of leisure, luxury and freedom; Hungry? Call room service or take the elevator to the downstairs Restaurant. Need dry cleaning or pressing? Push a button on the phone. Want to hit the gym or take a refreshing swimming break? No problem, the pool is downstairs!

Room mess stays to a minimum, due to the small amount of items you brought with you. They are carefully arranged and generously spread out in the huge closets like pieces of art; airy and accessible. You only have your favourite pieces with you, especially selected for the trip. There isn’t a pile of clothes to got through before you find the shirt you want to wear. It’s pure bliss. Rooms are cleaned and tidied daily. Zero effort. There are no distractions. It’s quasi a minimalistic existence for a happy, free and creative mind. Even more so appreciated after weeks of intense work and travel!

Visit Resort Ragaz for this experience and much more. Don’t forget to visit the Tamina Therme, drink the healing water and eat in all the Restaurants.

We went back to The Grand Resort Hotel Quellenhof in December for 3 days to shoot the video that is visible in the header of this post. It shows the Tamina Therme, Sven Wassmer’s Memories, the Spa and Hotel in general, such as Lobby, Bar, Stairs, Outdoors, Elevator, Room.

Special thank’s to the Quellenhof and its Restaurants, staff members & Swiss Deluxe Hotels
